Thailand was a country for vacation. I had been riding since August and in the end of October I stayed for the first time for more than 2 nights in the same place. I rode to Khao Lak where I sayed 10 days and did normal tourist things. Khao Lak was sun, warm sea, nature, relaxing. From Khao Lak I rode to Malaysia and found a modern country. I spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur, first coach surfing by a biker and then in a hotel downtown. I tried to get my bike transported from Kuala Lumpur to Australia but it didn't work - I did not find a company doing that. Then I studied the connections from Malaysia to Indonesia but there were only small privat fishing boats that might take a bike to sail to Indonesia. I felt that too difficult and decided to ride to Singapore to try exporting my bike from there. It didn't work either. I didn't have one paper called International Circulatoin Permit and the officers did not allow my bike to the country. I had never heard about the need of such paper and at the Malaysian border I got it without asking. Here, however, I should have obtained it 2 weeks in advance from the embassy of Singapore in Kuala Lumpur. F*** them. I turned around and rode back to Thailand and decided never to visit Singapore.
